I rail against Valentine’s Day and refuse to eat out on that day…I know you’re thinking what a misery! I prefer to stay in with a good bottle of wine and a roaring log fire.
This recipe is to be shared with your loved one and a very good bottle of red wine.

I’m with you, at home, with my honey, a wonderful meal and a good bottle of wine, just perfect. Maybe I’ll even do the raging fire.
Now all I need is a good bottle of wine to go with it – suggestions please?
Eating at home is always the best – good food, good wine, no crowds and you can’t beat sitting by the fire. Your beef dish looks divine and sounds so comforting and indulgent. Happy Valentine’s Day!
Hannah -Thanks – I agree home is best – there is nothing more depressing than a dining room filled with tables for 2, it is about as romantic as a chess competition!
