Winning the Cook Off on Park Avenue
Early August I entered a grilled peach, arugula, feta and pistachio salad in the Whole Foods Marks Healthy Eating competition.
I was chosen as finalist to compete in a cook off as part of NY Summer Streets. I got to cook on Park Avenue, not something you do everyday, well I don’t.
It was fun and took me back to when I was a kid and used to pretend to have a cooking show, these were pre-Food Network days before cooking on TV was cool.
